Christmas Wish Song

Biography: 

"Le Choeur des Piccoli" (St Kisito) is the children's choir of the St Peter Apostle Parish of Messamendongo-Yaounde-Cameroon. It brings together children and adolescents between 7 and 17 years old who want to get involved in the life of the parish as a chorister, and to receive musical and social training. 

It was created in 2005 under the leadership of Marie-louise TOYA, who is to this day the main administrator. 

Since 2010, the group has experienced a major change with the arrival of the new technical supervisor, Alexis Bakond. He opened a new horizon for the choir in terms of singing, initiatives, repertoire ... 

Today under the technical supervision of Alexis Bakond (Tenor, Technical Director, Principal Pianist, Choirmaster, Composer) and Marie-Louise TOYA (Soprano, President, Chief Choirmaster, Trainer), both members of the Classical Choir of the Yaounde Cathedral, the group animates the mass of 11h once a month, and animates with the adult choir all the solemn masses. At the same time, he conducts not only other spiritual activities (outside the Mass), fun activities, musical and human training, but also promotion, like concerts, galas and festivals. 

The choir has a studio album 'Je Chante pour Dieu', released in October 2017.
